Harbor Point Development hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for new, upscale waterfront townhouse condominiums located along the Ohio River in Williamstown.  The ceremony took place at 201 Harbor Drive with approximately 50 people in attendance to celebrate the start of construction in late 2019.  “We are very excited to officially begin the construction phase of the first townhouse unit,” said Mark Mondo, President of Mark Mondo Building and Excavating, developer of the project.

The Harbor Point Condominium complex will include 30 luxury townhouses with views of the beautiful Ohio River and harbor.  Townhouses will range in size from 1,800 square feet to 2,700 square feet featuring expansive floor plans with 2-bedroom to 5-bedroom options.   The development features a private, man-made harbor with floating concrete docks accommodating up to 60 vessels with a maximum vessel length up to 60 feet.

Jean Ford, Williamstown Mayor, commented “This is a wonderful and transformative development for Williamstown.  We are most grateful for the commitment and vision of Mark Mondo that will positively change the landscape of our community.”

“We are very, very excited to see these condominiums beginning to take shape,” stated John H. Anderson, Business Development Manager, for Mark Mondo Building & Excavating.  Harbor Point luxury condominiums will feature best-in-class quality construction with multi-floor living space options and ground level 4-vehicle garages.  According to Anderson, the gated community townhouse condominiums will include contemporary open floor spaces with decks and outdoor spaces for residents including private walking trails.

In addition to the upscale waterfront living condominiums, the Harbor Point development will include a protected inner harbor and acreage along WV Route 14 for commercial development.
