Greater Morgantown Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) recognizes MountainFest Motorcycle Rally for being selected as a “Top 20 Event” by the Southeast Tourism Society (STS) for July 2018.
The Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Festival and Event Awards have highlighted programs around the Southeast since 1985.
Travel industry experts select the top 20 events and festivals throughout the United States each month to not only give recognition, but to also provide a reference guide for tourists traveling through the Southeast.
“These events are important to the economic vitality of our communities and this is a way for us to acknowledge the time and resources organizers have tirelessly spent to create memories for their attendees,” said Bill Hardman, president and CEO of the Southeast Tourism Society.
The 14th Annual MountainFest Motorcycle Rally is a four-day event taking place on July 26-29 in Morgantown, West Virginia.
“As our largest pillar event, MountainFest positively impacts our local tourism economy more so than any other event the GMCVB supports,” said Susan Riddle, Executive Director of the GMCVB. “We have been a proud supporter of this event for many years.”
