Governor Tomblin will present a check for Hunters Helping the Hungry at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014 at Mountaineer Food Bank in Gassaway, WV.
Governor’s One Shot Committee members and Division of Natural Resources Director Frank Jezioro will present the Mountaineer Food Bank and the Hunters Helping the Hungry program with a check for funds raised during the eighth annual Governor’s One Shot Whitetail Hunt, which was held Oct. 24-26.
The Governor’s One Shot event is sponsored by WVDNR and the One Shot Committee. Private individuals and businesses donate money for the opportunity to participate in guided antlerless deer hunts on private property near Stonewall Resort State Park in Lewis County.
The ceremony will take place at noon Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, at Mountaineer Food Bank, 484 Enterprise Drive, Gassaway.
