The Charleston Area Alliance (CAA) is hosting its second Downtown Streetfest tomorrow, August 22.
CAA is keeping the downtown fun going this summer. Meet up with friends and family from 3:30-8 p.m. along Capitol Street, between Quarrier and Lee, for live music, kids’ activities, food and drinks, pop-up shops and more.
The VooDoo Katz will headline the free event. Many downtown retailers and restaurants have specials running during and after the event.
The event is sponsored by Sierra Nevada, North Central Distributors and Tony the Tailor along with support from the Charleston Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Kanawha County Public Library.
CAA held its first ever Downtown Streetfest on July 18.
Downtown Streetfest stems from the Imagine Charleston downtown redevelopment plan that aims to spur a more vibrant downtown community.
