Spring is an opportunity to enjoy newly blooming wildflowers, fishing, kayaking, birding or hiking, and West Virginia’s state parks are making it more affordable with special rates for cabin rentals in April and May.
“Rentals of two or more nights are discounted on most Sundays through Thursdays at our cabins,” said State Parks District Administrator Matt Yeager.
West Virginia state parks offering Spring Cabin Break rate discounts include Babcock State Park, Beech Fork State Park, Blackwater Falls State Park, Bluestone State Park, Cass Scenic Railroad State Park, Holly River State Park, Lost River State Park, North Bend State Park, Pipestem Resort State Park, Twin Falls Resort State Park, Tygart Lake State Park and Watoga State Park.
State parks have a wide variety of cabin types, from the new four-bedroom cabins at Blackwater Falls State Park to the pioneer cabins at Kumbrabow and Seneca state forests, as well as Legacy and Classic cabins. Spring cabin special rates vary by park. Learn more at www.wvstateparks.com.
