After floods devastated areas in West Virginia, DHG responded to the tragedy by making donations to the American Red Cross West Virginia Region. The DHG Foundation offered to match employee and partner donations, and in total, the firm and the DHG Foundation donated $22,000 toward relief efforts.
“The same day the floods hit, DHG held its fifth annual “Count the Cans: Community Collection Day” food drive to benefit the Mountaineer Food Bank. We had no idea the food items collected would be needed immediately and we knew we had a responsibility to do more,” says Rick Slater, DHG Western Mid-Atlantic Managing Partner. “Supporting our community is an essential part of our firm’s culture, and we will continue to live our values and show our support as recovery efforts continue.”
