The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce announced the 2018 recipients of the Five-Diamond Employer Award during its Human Resources Conference on Thursday, April 26th. The Thrasher Group, which has three offices and over 300 employees in the state, was one of sixteen companies recognized.
The Five-Diamond designation recognizes outstanding companies for their employee policies, continuing education opportunities for employees, community service participation and empowerment of employees.
“We work very hard to support our employees and their careers at Thrasher,” said Director of Human Resources Jenny Weaver, SPHR, SHRM-CP. “We do our best to make sure everyone is achieving their professional goals and feels supported.”
Mrs. Weaver went on to explain that beyond supporting employees’ career paths, Thrasher strives to be a place where you want to come to work. “Our employees go above and beyond to deliver for our clients, so we really try to make Thrasher a place where you want to come to work – whether that is through our benefits package or through the little things like company breakfasts.”
This is the first year The Thrasher Group has been recognized for this award.
Thrasher is a full service firm offering civil engineering, survey, environmental, architecture, and land planning services in addition to construction monitoring and materials testing to both public and private clientele. To learn more about Thrasher, please visit www.thethrashergroup.com.
