West Virginia Northern Community College (WVNCC) will host a Google Small Business Workshop focused on growing business online. The workshop will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on their Wheeling Campus in the B&O Building. The workshop will include three sessions and are free and open to the public.
The three topics for the workshop include Drive Business Growth with Email Marketing, Sharing Your Story through Video, and Succeeding in a Micro Moments World. During the Drive Your Business Growth with Email Marketing session, attendees will learn how to turn website visitors into meaningful contacts through the use of dynamic forms, email automation and personalized content. Email strategies will be discussed to help businesses turn one-time visitors into loyal customers. The Sharing Your Story through Video session will offer best practices for connecting with customers through online video and the role of video in marketing strategies. The Succeeding in a Micro Moments World session will discuss connecting with customers on mobile and making sure businesses are present from the moment customers find them online. Each session will last about one hour.
The workshop will be taught by Drew Tonsmeire. Tonsmeire is a speaker for Google’s Get your Business Online program and also serves as the area director with the University of Georgia SBDC at Kennesaw State University. With more than 23 years of experience within the Georgia SBDC Network, Tonsmeire consults small business owners in strategic marketing and business management.
