Clear Mountain Bank recently named Michael Krannich to the position of Chief Credit Officer.
In his role, Krannich will be responsible for overseeing the overall quality and administration of the bank’s lending portfolio including the areas of loan portfolio management, credit analysis, loan processing, collections and lending policies and procedures.

Krannich brings to Clear Mountain Bank more than 10 years’ experience in credit risk management, financial analysis, and portfolio management in the banking industry. He most recently served as Vice President of Credit Risk Management for a regional bank located in Morgantown, where he managed the underwriting and monitoring of a large portfolio of commercial banking customers covering a four-state region. Additionally, Krannich has leadership experience in commercial underwriting, credit analysis, loan workout and collections, and loan portfolio monitoring and reporting.
Krannich is a graduate of the University of Akron where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance. He is a member of the Financial Management Association Honor Society and resides in Morgantown with his wife and children.
