On Tuesday, October 2nd at 12 noon outside of the Clinical Pavilion, Thomas Memorial Hospital’s Breast Care Center is hosting a Courage Walk, in honor of breast cancer awareness month. We encourage those who have been touched by breast cancer or who are currently dealing with this disease to join us outside of the Clinical Pavilion to take a short walk and to release balloons in honor of those who have fought his battle.
The American Cancer Society and the Susan G. Komen Foundation will also be there providing information. Purchase breast cancer awareness t-shirts, enjoy refreshments, and participants may also register for a free mammogram.
Our hope is that together we can make a difference in the fight against this disease.
