United States Attorney Booth Goodwin to announce the 2012 U.S. Attorney’s Law Enforcement and Victim Assistance Awards Monday at Marshall University

The 2012 U.S. Attorney’s Law Enforcement and Victim Assistance Awards Ceremony will be at noon Monday, Oct. 15, at the Marshall University Foundation Hall, Home of the Erickson Alumni Center on MU’s Huntington campus.

The annual awards ceremony, hosted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of West Virginia, recognizes commendable service of federal, state and local law enforcement officers, as well as other leaders who have made significant contributions on behalf of the criminal justice system in the state.

Parking is free and available in the Sixth Avenue parking garage. If coming north on Hal Greer Boulevard towards campus, turn right onto Sixth Avenue and travel a block and a half to the parking garage. The entrance is on the left (north) side of Sixth Avenue. If driving east on Fifth Avenue, drive past the MU Foundation Hall, turn right onto John Marshall Drive, travel half a block and turn left at the 5-1/2 alley where the entrance is located.
