TIMET Ravenswood Media Day Overview

Event Name: Media Day for Titanium Metals Corporation (TIMET) in Ravenswood, WV.
Date and Time: June 11, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Location: 7322 Point Pleasant Road, Millwood, WV, 25262.
Directions: Please enter the contractor parking lot accessed to the right of the construction facility. Signs will direct you to the media parking area.
Purpose: As construction began in 2024, TIMET will be hosting a media day on June 11 to provide area media the opportunity for interviews and b-roll of the construction progress and status of the project development. Media can expect information on the project, project construction and hiring information.

Agenda

Welcome and Registration: As we understand media schedules, the format of this media day will be an open house style. Interviews will be done on-site at a designated interview area at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. b-roll will be available to be captured on the site from 10:00 a.m. to noon. A designated area for b-roll has been created by TIMET and media will be escorted to the area by a TIMET representative. PPE must be worn, TIMET will provide. Please wear closed-toed shoes, steel-toed is preferred.

Site Tour/Access: Due to construction, media will have access to a designated area for b-roll shots.
Presentations/Demonstrations:
- B-roll Shooting Available – 10 a.m. to noon.
- TIMET representative Interviews: 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
- All speakers will be on-hand 10 a.m. to noon for additional information or b-roll shots.

Logistics Information

Directions and Parking: This is an active construction site and proper safety measures will be executed to ensure a safe environment. All media will be asked to park in the designated media parking area in the contractor parking lot to the right of the construction area. Signs will direct the media to the parking area. Please see attached map to locate the parking area.
On-site Protocol: This is an active construction site, and all media will be asked to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by TIMET. Closed-toed shoes and pants must be worn. If you have steel-toed or safety boots, please wear those. If you do not own steel-toed boots, we will provide PPE to meet site safety standards.

Because TIMET will need to prep for PPE resources, we ask that all media who plan to attend RSVP with Rachel Coffman at rachel@coffmancollaborative.com.

We understand that media staffing resources could cause a shift in who will attend. We ask that if you do not know the designated reporter to provide the media entity that will be attending.

To access the b-roll area, you must be escorted by a TIMET representative. The RSVP will also help TIMET plan for the number of escorts needed. Please let us know if you will need a power hook-up. If you would like to do a live shot at the noon newscast, please let us know and we can plan to accommodate.
