WHAT: Boone Memorial Health will host a press conference and ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of Market on Main, a year-round community-driven initiative of the Boone Memorial Health Foundation. Following the press conference, Market on Main will officially open to the public with a weekend of festivities including live entertainment, family activities and shopping from local farmers, producers and artisans.

· Press Conference & Ribbon Cutting: Friday, Sept. 19 at noon
· Public Grand Opening Events: Friday, Sept. 19 from 2-6 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 20. from 10 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
WHERE: Market on Main 397 Main Street Madison, WV
WHY: Market on Main is a community-driven initiative designed to:
· Provide fresh, affordable produce to address food insecurity
· Support local farmers, producers and artisans to strengthen the local economy
· Offer educational opportunities around healthy living and sustainable agriculture
· Create a gathering place for music, workshops and community events

The Market will close at 6 p.m. inside, but restrooms will be available during the Detonators concert at 7:30 p.m.
