The law firm Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC has announced that Neva Lusk, member in its Charleston office, was named a West Virginia Bar Foundation Fellow. She joins fewer than 300 other fellows previously selected from more than 5,000 eligible lawyers and judges in the state.
The foundation bases its selection of Fellows on attorneys’ dedication to the welfare of their communities and honorable service to the legal profession in West Virginia. Nineteen lawyers and 3 members of the judiciary were selected as Fellows this year.
Lusk has served on the West Virginia Bar Foundation board of directors and on the West Virginia State Bar board of governors. She is an active member of DRI, a leading organization of defense attorneys and in-house counsel, serving on multiple committees.
Lusk is an experienced trial lawyer, whose practice focuses on product liability, toxic torts and class action defense litigation. She earned her undergraduate degree from Marshall University and her law degree from West Virginia University.
