Shaner has hired Julie Caldwell as Director of Sales for the Holiday Inn Express Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, West Virginia.
“Julie brings over twenty years of diverse sales and marketing experience,” says Rusty Eaton, Regional Director of Operations at Shaner. “Her career experience includes Deputy Press Secretary for the Office of the Governor in Charleston, West Virginia, Director of Marketing for the Tri-State Racetrack and Gaming Center (now Mardi Gras Casino & Resort) and President and CEO of the Charleston Convention & Visitors Bureau.”
Most recently, Miss Caldwell worked as Director of Sales for three Monarch Properties (Ramada Charleston, Wingate by Windham and Hampton Inn Southridge) and provided new business development support as an independent contractor for the 483-room Homestead Resort located in Hot Springs, Virginia.
Ms. Caldwell is a graduate of Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia where she studied Public Relations and Political Science.
