Are you an established business interested in learning how to grow your sales internationally? If so, join the West Virginia District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration as we participate in a free workshop targeted to help small businesses excel at selling products and services abroad.
The workshop will be held on Thursday, August 22 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Women’s Business & Training Center at 301-B George Street in Beckley, WV. Others participating in the workshop include Leslie Drake, Director of the WV U.S. Export Assistance Center, and Caitlin Ashley from the International Trade division of the West Virginia Development.
Leo Lopez, SBA West Virginia District Office Lender Relations Specialist and William Houck, SBA Office of International Trade Regional Manager will discuss export financing options. Other topics include: how to target overseas markets, freight and logistics, resources for new exporters and time for questions and answers.
“This is a great opportunity for established small businesses to learn how to target international markets,” says Judy McCauley, SBA West Virginia District Director. “Exporting allows small businesses the ability to weather economic downturns, while maintaining global competitiveness and driving job creation.”
