University Healthcare Physicians (UHP) would like to welcome longtime community pediatrician, William Wear, MD, and the staff of University Pediatric Associates to its group of 19 medical practices in the Eastern Panhandle. University Pediatric Associates, formerly known as Eastern Panhandle Pediatrics, joined UHP in July when Dr. Edward Arnett retired.
Dr. Wear is a board certified pediatrician who’s been practicing medicine in Martinsburg since 2001. He is a graduate of the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, AL and completed his pediatrics residency at St. Joseph Hospital Children’s Health Center in Phoenix, AZ. He is also an active member of the medical staff at University Healthcare Berkeley Medical Center and an Assistant Professor with the WVU School of Medicine Eastern Division.
UHP would also like to announce the addition of pediatrician, Adarsh R. Kancharla, MD to University Pediatric Associates and the medical staff of Berkeley Medical Center. In addition to patient care services, Dr. Kancharla will help to train medical students and resident physicians as an Assistant Professor for the WVU School of Medicine Eastern Division.
Dr. Kancharla is a graduate of N.T.R. University of Health Sciences in Andhra Pradesh India. He recently completed a pediatrics residency at Marshfield Clinic, St Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, WI where he was the chief resident.
