Everyone knows that there are definite benefits to eating a well-balanced, nutritious diet and exercising regularly, but many people just don’t know where to start. The Eat Well for Life programs teaches participants to live it, not diet.
Participants who enroll in Eat Well for Life II, offered at University Healthcare Berkeley Medical Center, will learn about the actions they need to take in order to make healthy lifestyle decisions that can result not only in weight management, but in decreased health risks.
Eat Well for Life II is a lifestyle improvement program promoting wellness and long-term weight management through increasing physical activity and healthy eating. Eat Well for Life II is a 4-week class that provides new insights on maximizing your energy with good nutrition and gives you the inside scoop on balanced meal planning, dining out, listening to your body and making the connection between mood and food. Participation in Eat Well for Life I is not required for participation in Eat Well for Life II.
