While the COVID-19 pandemic took a record-breaking toll on the hospitality industry, West Virginia’s event spaces are open and ready for business. Bavarian Inn

Add elegance and charm to your next meeting or corporate retreat at the Bavarian Inn. The Bavarian Inn—located just over an hour from Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, MD—is the perfect location for up to 150 guests. With 7,500 square feet of flexible meeting space, award-winning dining, 70 luxuriously appointed guest rooms and more than 11 acres of beautifully manicured lawns and gardens, your meeting is sure to be productive and picturesque.

Bridgeport Conference Center

This conference center was designed specifically to host meetings, conferences, weddings and events. The largest event area, composed of 4,500 square feet, can be used to accommodate over 400 guests or divided into four meeting rooms, which can accommodate up to 125 people. Available in conjunction with the rental of the ballroom, the 1,500-square-foot lobby, wide corridors and outdoor views are all perfect for pre and post event gatherings.

Charleston Coliseum
& Convention Center

Located in the capital city, the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center covers 529,006 square feet and includes a 13,500-seat arena; 283,000-square-foot convention center; 738-seat in-house theater; and 3,400-seat municipal auditorium. The convention area is made up of 100,000 square feet of meeting space; 25 meeting and conference spaces; 72,400 square feet of single-room space; 50,000 square feet of exhibit space; a 25,000-square-foot ballroom; and 8,000-square-foot reception area overlooking the Elk River.

Chief Logan Lodge

Located in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of Southern West Virginia, the lodge at Chief Logan State Park offers year-round conference facilities for your meeting and special event needs. Clingman Center for
Community Engagement

In 2019, the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine signed a long-term agreement to lease the Clingman Center for Community Engagement near downtown Lewisburg, WV. A barnlike structure that combines rural charm with modern convenience, the Clingman Center can be rented for corporate meetings, luncheons and retreats, as well as private events. The center’s amenities include a large, open meeting space, commercial kitchen for use by approved caterers and a projector and screen for video presentations.

DoubleTree by Hilton Huntington

The DoubleTree by Hilton Huntington is a recently renovated property located in downtown Huntington. As the only full-service property in the area and the only DoubleTree in West Virginia, the hotel is home to 183 sleeping rooms and 20,000 square feet of meeting space. The property has a grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 600 guests and a grand theater that can seat between 200 to 400 guests. The hotel also offers two boardrooms.

Heritage Farm Museum & Village

Located in Huntington, Heritage Farm Museum & Village is home to award-winning museums. It continues to delight guests from around the globe as West Virginia’s first Smithsonian affiliate. Heritage Farm provides a unique atmosphere with spaces like Heritage Hall, a reception hall that seats up to 150 people, and Pioneer Hall, a banquet hall that seats 64 people. It is also home to the Barn Retreat Center, a 19th century dairy barn converted into a conference center.

Holiday Inn Martinsburg

The newly renovated Holiday Inn Martinsburg is conveniently located directly off Interstate 81. The banquet capacity in the ballroom is 320 guests with flexibility to be converted to smaller rooms to accommodate a variety of both business and social events. The full-service banquet and catering staff is available to provide excellent customer service as well as delicious menu options in an effort to accommodate a variety of budgetary and dietary requests.

Hotel Morgan

Completely renovated and reimagined, Hotel Morgan brings newfound energy to Morgantown visitors and locals alike. For large gatherings of up to 226 people, the Brant Grand Ballroom is a stunning two-story ballroom with floor to ceiling windows. Anvil + Ax, the on-site craft cocktail lounge, creates a sophisticated space for up to 60 guests. The hotel also offers the Sugar Maple Room, which is perfect for meetings and conferences up to 42 people.

J.Q. Dickinson Salt-Works

J.Q. Dickinson Salt-Works is Charleston’s most unique event venue. The farm setting, 10 minutes from downtown, offers a rural venue for gatherings of any size. There are several different event areas to accommodate your group, both inside and out. The venue is popular for weddings as well as private events and fundraisers. Groups are often interested in tours of the facility to see the process by which its salt is made.

Oglebay

Oglebay is comprised of 20,000 square feet of flexible, state-of-the-art meeting space featuring a variety of amenities paired with the highest standards in presentation technology, cleanliness and safety. Wilson Lodge boasts 258 well-appointed guest rooms. The newly renovated meeting space can accommodate groups up to 500. Whether you are planning an informal break-out meeting, a boardroom-style gathering or conference, Oglebay’s flexible meeting space may be configured to meet the needs of your group.

Snowshoe Mountain Resort

Snowshoe Mountain Resort in beautiful Pocahontas County is the perfect destination for a business conference served with a side of adventure. Snowshoe offers spectacular views of the surrounding Allegheny Mountains, creating a unique backdrop for any meeting. With more than 40,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including the 15,000-square-foot Expo Center, a top-notch catering team and lodging for up to 10,000, Snowshoe can accommodate your group regardless of the size.

Summersville Arena
& Conference Center

The Summersville Arena & Conference Center is centrally located in West Virginia with easy access to most interstates. The arena is 24,000 square feet and serves as an inviting area for meetings and conferences. It can accommodate anywhere from 25 to 400 guests. The arena can also be converted into a beautiful ballroom for banquets and weddings or used for trade shows and expos. The 3,700-square-foot conference center is a multipurpose area perfect for smaller meetings.

The Blennerhassett Hotel

The Blennerhassett Hotel offers a wide array of venue spaces for your business needs. The Charleston Ballroom seats up to 250 people, features high ceilings and glistening chandeliers. Plan your upcoming event in one of three boardrooms that seat between 50 and 65 guests. The hotel also offers breakout rooms, including suites that can seat up to 10 individuals. For small events, the lavishly decorated temperature-controlled patio tent is bound to impress.

The Gaines Estate

Add elegance and charm to your event. The Gaines Estate is the perfect location for meetings, corporate events and business seminars. The 1920s era mansion, located in downtown Fayetteville, includes multiple meeting spaces with up-to-date equipment. The 4,000-square-foot pavilion is the perfect option for large meetings. With a center stage and sound system, the space is a flexible area ready to accommodate groups of any size. The conference room, located in the historic estate house, is ideal for smaller meetings.

The Highlands Event Center

The Highlands Event Center is conveniently located near Wheeling, WV. It is a 4,000-square-foot, state-
of-the-art event venue with many flexible options to guarantee your event or conference is one to remember. Centrally located between Morgantown, WV; Pittsburgh, PA; and Columbus, Ohio, the venue is a great location with multiple shopping, dining, lodging and entertainment options nearby. The event center staff can help you host a wide variety of events.

Valley Park Conference Center

Valley Park, located in Teays Valley, WV, is home to one of the most versatile event locations in the state and includes an all-inclusive playground, outdoor lawn, community garden, wave pool, sports fields and picnic shelters. The Valley Park Conference Center seats up to 565 guests at round tables and 1,200 for concert seating. Alternative spaces include an executive conference room and the Valley Lawn, which is 1,700 square feet and perfect for tent events.
