BridgeValley Community and Technical College Workforce and Economic Development Division is offering health care certification training designed for individuals seeking entry into the health care field during the 2015-16 academic school year. Interested individuals are invited to attend an information session on Thursday, July 9th from 10 – 11:30 am or 2:30 – 4 pm at the South Charleston Campus (Main) room 004 to register for a program and apply for financial assistance.
Attendees will learn about program entry requirements, professional certification exams provided after completion, and U.S. Department of Labor statics on employment trends and salary projections. Also learn how to qualify for grants to cover program costs. Specific health areas covered at this free information session include:
- Direct Patient Care (C.N.A.)
- EKG Technician Training
- Medical Administration – Electronic Health Records Specialist
- Pharmacy Technician
- Phlebotomy Technician
