The Bingo last night for the charity Keep the Christmas Lights On was very successful, but we still need more money so that we can help as many laid off coal miner families as possible. If every one of our friends and members would take the challenge to send in a check for $5-$10-$20 or whatever you can spare, we could raise another $50,000 or more to help these families.
The list of people needing help is growing every day and we have many miners who have exhausted or are close to exhausting their unemployment benefits, so how about it? Can you spare an extra $5 or $10 to help with this great cause?
