Concord University will host a Graduation Fair on Monday, Sept. 16 from 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. on the Athens campus at 1000 Vermillion Street, Athens, W.Va. The event will be held in the Jerry & Jean Beasley Student Center Ballroom, located on the 3rd floor.
Campus administrative offices including Student Support Services, the Alumni Office, the Business Office and the Registrar’s Office will be present to assist students in the graduation process. The Financial Aid Office will also be available so that students may learn how to take an exit interview. In addition, the Career Services Office will be available to help students with their resumes and assist them with applying to graduate and professional schools.
Registrar Carolyn Cox says, “Concord’s Graduation Fair is a one stop shop to apply for graduation. The fair is for students who are applying for the fall 2013 graduation. Students will be able to apply for graduation, pay the $50 graduation fee, and be measured for a cap and gown.”
Light refreshments will be provided, along with alumni license plates and an additional gift for upcoming fall graduates. Photographs of fall 2013 graduates will also be taken for the yearbook.
