Dinsmore is pleased to announce that it has promoted eight associates, including two West Virginians, to firm partnership.

Jacob Manning (Wheeling)

As a member of the firm’s International Practice and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups, Jacob advises businesses and individuals through a variety of legal issues. He drafts and reviews contracts, particularly those involving sales of goods, distributorships and licensing, and construction, vendor and service contracts on behalf of boards of education and other public entities. He focuses a significant portion of his practice on construction law and represents owners, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers in litigation as well as during contract negotiations.

When clients are negotiating a contract, Jacob also provides advice about payment, including guarantees and letters of credit. Should a dispute arise, he represents clients both before U.S. courts and in arbitration subject to international rules. Jacob is a frequent speaker on letters of credit, and he has been a representative to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law.

Joshua Rogers (Morgantown)

Josh is a partner in the Corporate Department whose diverse practice focuses on family wealth planning, asset protection planning, probate, business formation and organization and business succession planning.  Josh also has experience in representing both individual and institutional clients in various types of civil litigation including will contests, will and trust construction actions, family and probate disputes, real property rights, mineral ownership disputes, shareholder and partner disputes and federal and state taxation appeals.

Josh is active in the community, serving as Vice President and a Director of the North Central West Virginia Estate Planning Council and as Vice President of the Monongalia County Literacy Volunteers.
