William B. Grant, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of First United Bank & Trust, and Keith R. Sanders, senior vice president and senior trust officer of First United Trust & Investments announced the promotion of Jason Sweitzer to First United Trust & Investments vice president.
Mr. Grant commented, “Jason’s expertise and experience make him a tremendous asset to First United Trust & Investments, and his dedication shows daily in his job. This promotion recognizes the important contributions he has made to the performance of our trust and investments department.”
Mr. Sanders added, “Jason’s promotion is well deserved and he will continue as team sales leader managing the sales process within the Cumberland market in Maryland and the Morgantown market in West Virginia. Jason is a great team player who understands the importance of superior customer service.”
Since joining First United in 2000, Jason has been promoted several times within the trust & investments department. Jason started as an investment executive, was promoted to regional manager of Garrett and Allegany Counties for retail banking and then progressed to becoming a senior trust & investments sales officer.
Jason is a summa cum laude graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He also obtained his Certified Financial Planner certification and has attended Cannon Trust School. Jason is a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Series 7 registered representative, serves as an investment advisor representative and has a Maryland health and life insurance license.
