The Herbert Henderson Office of Minority Affairs (HHOMA) today announced plans for the 2014 Minority Business Expo to be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from noon to 6:30 p.m. at the Beni Kedem Temple in Charleston.
“The Minority Business Expo provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs to work with local and regional partners to share best practices and collaborate with experts to gain helpful tips on how to own and operate a small business,” Dr. Carolyn Stuart, executive director of HHOMA, said. “This event provides entrepreneurs from across the state with the building blocks they need to grow their business and useful information to help chart long-term success.”
The Minority Business Expo is co-sponsored by HHOMA and Columbia Pipeline Group. Local and regional partners include the West Virginia Small Business Development Center, the Kanawha Institute of Social Research in Action (KISRA), Vision Shared and the TriState Minority Supplier Development Council.
