To celebrate West Virginia’s birthday, Chief Logan Lodge is hosting a “Hoedown in the Hills” Saturday, June 18, 2016. The Hoedown, featuring local music, dancing and favorite country foods, starts at 8 p.m. at the Chief Logan Lodge community area.
A country buffet prepared by Chef Cathy Fout will be offered at the restaurant from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The price of $12.95 for adults and $6.95 for children includes drinks and state tax. The Country Hoedown buffet includes pinto beans, cornbread, chicken livers, fried potatoes, kraut and wieners, corn on the cob, creamed peas, salad bar, cherry cobbler and apple pie. A cash bar opens at 7 p.m.
Overnight packages start at $99.95 per room with upgrades available. The Hoedown package includes a room (king or double queen), buffet dinner for two, express breakfast for two, and Hoedown (music and dance). Late check-outs are encouraged for guests who want to linger longer to purchase a special Father’s Day Buffet the next day. Hoedown, music and dance only is $10 per person.
Chief Logan Lodge is located 1 mile off US 119 at Mile marker 30.5 between Chapmanville and Logan.
