Young Guns Class of 2026

Professionals across all of West Virginia’s industries dedicate themselves to advancing the Mountain State, fully committed to creating meaningful change within their communities. These trailblazers embody perseverance, a drive to reach their ambitions and deep pride in their state that motivates them to remain and contribute as much as possible, all while still having countless opportunities ahead in their careers.

The 10 individuals who make up the Young Guns Class of 2026 embody these qualities, applying the same level of dedication and care across their different fields of work. The nominees come from the Metro Valley, Mid-Ohio Valley, Northern Panhandle, Mountaineer Country and Eastern Panhandle, which means over half of the state is reaping the benefits from the hard work they put into their communities and careers.

The Young Guns photo shoot features several picturesque locations across Upshur County, including the Wesley Chapel, Virginia Thomas Law Center for the Performing Arts, Annie Merner Pfeiffer Library, West Virginia State Wildlife Center and the Alum Cave Trail at Audra State Park.

Anyone selected to be a Young Gun must live and work in West Virginia, be 43 years of age or younger at the time of selection, succeed in their career and be actively involved in their community.

Do you know a local leader making a difference in their community? Nominate them for next year’s class of Young Guns here. Nominations are accepted year-round.

Now, we are thrilled to present to you the Young Guns Class of 2026.
