Kayaking on North Bend State Park Lake takes place in a classic flat-water setting. The two-hour instruction begins at 6 p.m. and includes safety information, balance, basic paddle strokes and a review of equipment.  Class sizes are small with a one-instructor-to-six-kayakers ratio. The cost of the course is $30 and includes all equipment.

Reservations for these events are required and can be made by calling 304-643-2931.
