Merrill Lynch today announced Lyle Smith has been appointed resident director of Merrill Lynch’s Charleston office.
Smith will lead the Charleston office’s team of dedicated Merrill Lynch financial advisors to continue to deliver integrated wealth management strategies to local individuals, families, and businesses.
“Lyle’s proven leadership and outstanding reputation make him the perfect candidate to lead our Charleston local office,” said Brian D. Ludwick, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management market executive. “Lyle’s many years of experience in the wealth management industry will enhance our ability to offer the high quality of service that Charleston investors have come to expect from Merrill Lynch.”
Smith, a resident of Charleston, W. Va., joined Merrill Lynch in 2015. He received a bachelor’s degree from Washington & Lee University and an MBA from University of South Carolina.
