The Mon Health System Board of Directors announced the appointment of Thomas Senker, FACHE, as interim CEO of Mon Health System and Mon Health Medical Center, effective Thursday, April 5.
Tom has strong ties to West Virginia and the hospital, having served as the President and CEO of Mon Health for 16 years from 1983-1999. Since that time he has been in various senior leadership positions for hospitals and health systems in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
He currently serves as founder and principal of Grace Healthcare Advisors, a consulting firm in Charleston, SC, that delivers leadership, management and governance solutions to the healthcare industry.
A national search is underway for a permanent CEO, and the board expects to have the role filled later this year.
