University Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine is now open in Ranson. Orthopedic Surgeon, Nyagon Duany, MD is the clinic’s physician.
University Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine is a state-of-the-art clinic with digital imaging available on site. Dr. Duany will evaluate and treat most orthopedic conditions, including fracture care, dislocations, arthritis, sports injuries, joint pain, and occupational injuries using both surgical and non-surgical techniques. The office is located at 201 East Fifth Avenue, Suite #2, near Jefferson Memorial Hospital.
Nyagon Duany, MD graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN, where she also completed a surgical internship. Her orthopedics residency was completed at Howard University in Washington, DC. Dr. Duany also completed a sports medicine fellowship at University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH. As a former NCAA Division I women’s basketball player at Bradley University in IL, Duany has a special understanding of athletes.
In addition to patient care services, Dr. Duany will help to train resident physicians and medical students as an Assistant Professor for the West Virginia University School of Medicine Department of Orthopaedics.
