Jennifer Rosenberger of Clear Mountain Bank was among 29 bankers receiving graduation diplomas on May 27, 2016 from the West Virginia School of Banking held at the University of Charleston. This two year program features a challenging curriculum with courses covering all aspects of banking, economics and related subjects.
Rosenberger holds the position of branch manager at Clear Mountain Bank’s Suncrest Towne Centre Kroger office. A native of Bruceton Mills, she has been with Clear Mountain Bank since 2011 and also has experience in the bank’s lending and retail banking departments. Rosenberger graduated with honors from Laurel Business Institute with an associate’s degree in office administration, and she is also a graduate of the West Virginia Bankers Association’s Branch Management School.
The West Virginia School of Banking is governed by a Board of Trustees, which consists of bank executives throughout the state. The faculty consists of bankers, educators and professional leaders, with excellent teaching credentials and vast experience. Dr. Edmond J. Seifried, Dean of the West Virginia School of Banking, is an internationally recognized economist.
The School provides a learning experience that benefits bankers over the course of their career. Upon completion of the School, students have acquired an understanding of day-to-day banking operations and the role of the financial services industry in the national economy. The School requires attendance on campus with a one-week session for two consecutive years and home study assignments between sessions.
During their two years at the West Virginia School of Banking, students receive 76 hours of classroom instruction, pass a written examination and prepare a formal presentation to the Board of Trustees.
