The U.S. Small Business Administration’s West Virginia District Office provides training during the 2015 West Virginia Construction & Design Exposition, March 25 and 26 at the Civic Center in Charleston, WV.
During the Exposition, the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Regional Contracting Assistance Center holds training on “How to do business with the Federal Government,” March 26 from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. The workshop provides rural small businesses with what they need to know and the steps to take to maximize federal business opportunities. Businesses learn how to locate government buyers and how to sell to federal agencies by unraveling the complexity of the government’s buying process. Also provided is an overview of SBA’s Certification Programs – 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business, HUBZone and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and more.
The Charleston Civic Center is located at 200 Civic Center Drive in Charleston. The workshop is free but registration at www.wvexpo.com.
