Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College’s Entrepreneurship and Business Coaching Center is hosting a Facebook for Business workshop on Monday, June 25 at the Hatfield McCoy Trails Office in Lyburn, W.Va. The workshop will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and lunch will be provided. The workshop is free, but registration is required.
Topics that will be discussed include how to effectively utilize a Facebook page for your business, mistakes you can avoid, and using the proper tools to gain leverage in a competitive market. Following the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to sign-up for an hour-long follow-up consultation at no charge.
The workshop will be moderated by Kristina Joyce, the Program Administrator for Southern’s Entrepreneurship and Business Coaching Center. Joyce has served as the state director of the West Virginia Small Business Development Center (SBDC) from 2009 to 2017, and was elected to America’s SBDC Foundation, America’s SBDC Board of Directors, and America’s SBDC Accreditation Committee.
Southern’s Entrepreneurship and Business Coaching Center provides technical assistance and training to ensure that new and existing small businesses and entrepreneurs are being provided the highest level of service to optimize their success rates in southern West Virginia. It is funded through the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) POWER initiative.
