Angela Midkiff, registered nurse (RN), has been named the new clinical manager of behavioral health, and Barbie Price, RN, has accepted the position of clinical manager of interventional radiology.
Midkiff has been the interim clinical manager since July 2012. She has been with St. Mary’s since April 2002, working as a behavioral health staff nurse and as both a licensed practical nurse (LPN) and RN in other departments of the medical center. Midkiff received her RN license in 2006 after completing the LPN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at Mountain State University. She received her LPN license in 1999 after completing the practical nursing program with Cabell County Career Technology Center.
Price is a 1990 graduate of St. Mary’s School of Nursing. She has been employed as a staff nurse at St. Mary’s, working in interventional radiology from 1995 to 2005 and the cardiac catheterization lab from 2005 to 2012. She obtained her BSN in 2008 from University of North Alabama and completed her master’s degree in nursing in June 2012 from Walden University. She worked as a nursing instructor for the University of Rio Grande from 2009 to 2012.
