This fall, college football’s most iconic symbol of excellence is making a stop in the Kanawha Valley.

The world-famous Heisman Memorial Trophy, awarded annually to the nation’s top college football player, will be on public display at Moses Nissan in St. Albans from Wednesday, September 3 through Saturday, September 6, 2025.

For four days only, fans will have the chance to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with one of sports’ most legendary awards—a trophy that represents grit, greatness and the pursuit of excellence on the gridiron.

“This is more than just a trophy—it’s a piece of football history,” says Suzanne Moses Persinger,
chief operating officer of Moses Auto Group. “Very few people ever get the chance to see the Heisman up close, let alone take a photo with it. We wanted to give our community that opportunity, right here in St. Albans.”

Moses Nissan is rolling out the red carpet to make the Heisman’s visit unforgettable:

  • Official Unveiling: Wednesday, September 3 at 9 a.m. at Moses Nissan in St. Albans.
  • Exclusive Photo Ops: Fans are invited to snap their own picture with the Heisman
Trophy and create a memory they’ll treasure forever.
  • Team Tradition: Local football programs—youth, high school and beyond—are
encouraged to bring their full teams for a once-in-a-lifetime group photo with the trophy.
  • Refreshments and Festivities: Guests will enjoy complimentary refreshments, special
giveaways and fun contests throughout the event.
  • Grand Finale—Saturday, September 6: As a grand finale to our Heisman Trophy
event, we invite the community to join us for free food, delicious Ellen’s Ice Cream,
inflatables for the kids and games and prizes. Saturday, September 6 from
    11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Heisman Trophy will be available to the public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday at 300 MacCorkle Ave, St Albans, WV. Admission is free and open to the public.
