The Pottery Place Studio is excited to announce the opening of its new location in the Southridge Shopping Center located at 2824 Mountaineer Blvd., South Charleston, WV.
Thanks to the continued support of the Huntington, Ashland and Beckley communities, Laya Hutchison, owner, decided to expand into the Charleston market. The Pottery Place is Charleston’s only paint-your-own pottery studio. The studio is all inclusive, providing all the materials needed to complete a project with a selection of over 300 pieces of bisque. The pottery is glazed and fired on site so customers can pick up their work of art in a week. Customers can walk in to create their handmade pieces or have a group event. Studio events may include birthdays, field trips, church groups and scout troops, just to name a few.
Hutchison has maintained all the studio amenities by continuing her brand in the new location offering fun, affordable entertainment for people of all ages and talent levels. She wanted to offer this experience to a wide range of customers in Charleston and surrounding communities.
The new Pottery Place studio opened December 26.
Studio hours are Monday-Thursday 10-9, Friday-Saturday 10-10 and Sunday 1-7. For more information visit www.thepotteryplace.biz.
