West Virginia’s third WeDesign event will be held Wednesday, Jan. 15 at Bartini, located in the Suncrest Town Center.
The event is free and open to all working in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations and Design industries. Students over the age of 21 who are pursuing these areas of study are also encouraged to attend.
Hosted by local marketing and design agency, Asayo Creative, Inc, WeDesign was formed to promote the networking and support of the area’s creative community. According to Asayo Creative Owner and President Damian Ferek, the event was created to combat the lack of awareness of the creative work accomplished in the area and those who are creating it.
“West Virginia has an awesome environment of agency, freelance and corporate creatives,” said Ferek. “WeDesign provides an opportunity for those creative minds to come together each month to network, share ideas and enjoy the relaxed environment.”
Although the event is typically held the second Wednesday of each month, this month’s event will be pushed back as a convenience to 2014 schedules.
“We’ve decided to push it back this month to allow attendees time to adjust to the New Year,” said Ferek.
WeDesign events will offer guest speakers, a cash bar and drink specials.
Created in 2013 by Asayo Creative, Inc., WeDesign emerged as a way to promote the networking and support of the West Virginia creative community. Founded in 2006 by Damian Ferek, Asayo Creative, Inc is a marketing and design agency centrally located in Morgantown, West Virginia.
