West Liberty University will hold its Spring 2015 Commencement Ceremony at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, in the Academic, Sports and Recreation Complex (ASRC). Three hundred and eighty five students are expected to complete graduation requirements during the spring semester.
Interim President Dr. John McCullough will confer the degrees.
“Commencement is such a wonderful day — a day of celebration and appreciation. We are proud of our students and wish them all the best. We look forward to welcoming their families and friends, along with our honored guests, as we congratulate the Class of 2015,” McCullough said.
Pittsburgh banking leader and WLU alumna Kristina K. Williams will deliver the commencement address. Williams was born and raised in Wheeling, spending much time at West Liberty where her father, Roland E. “Rollie” Williams taught for 37 years.
She is the chief operating officer (COO) for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh (FHLBank Pittsburgh).
