Approximately 25 West Virginia legislators will tour the Marshall University Forensic Science Center at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, to learn more about its academic program and the forensic services provided to law enforcement within the state and the nation.
The legislative representatives include members of Subcommittee B of the Joint Standing Committee on the Judiciary. In attendance will be Sen. Herb Snyder (D-Jefferson), senate committee chair, and Delegate Meshea Poore (D-Kanawha), the house committee chair of the subcommittee.
The tour is a follow-up on a presentation to the subcommittee given by Dr. Terry W. Fenger, director of Marshall’s Forensic Science Center, in June about the operation and management of the center.
