Concord University and the West Virginia Small Business Development Center are hosting a free cybersecurity workshop for interested southern West Virginia small businesses on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018. The workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the State Room in the Concord University Student Center.
Participants will learn ways to effectively protect their small business from cyber threats, promote awareness of the importance of and the need for cybersecurity measures and understand how to quickly react to cybersecurity threats and attacks.
Registration for the event is free thanks to a partnership with Advantage Technology and the West Virginia Small Business Development Center under the West Virginia Department of Commerce. Door prizes, coffee, juice, and doughnuts/pastries will be provided.
