Wild, Wonderful West Virginia and Mountain Stage Partner to Promote Mountain Music Trail

Mountain Music Trail MapWild, Wonderful West Virginia (GoToWV) and Mountain Stage, a production of West Virginia Public Broadcasting, announced a partnership to promote the Mountain Music Trail and West Virginia’s music heritage during this evening’s live Mountain Stage show at the Culture Center.

“We’re very excited for the opportunity to share the wealth of musical talent here in the state and along the Mountain Music Trail with folks from across the country and around the globe,” Commissioner of Tourism Amy Shuler Goodwin said. “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with the dynamic teams at Mountain Stage and West Virginia Public Broadcasting.”

Wild, Wonderful West Virginia is a major underwriter of Mountain Stage.  “Mountain Stage with Larry Groce” was founded in 1983 in Charleston and is produced by West Virginia Public Broadcasting. The two-hour broadcast is carried on nearly 150 NPR stations nationwide and overseas via the Voice of America. For more information, visit www.mountainstage.org.
