Dr. Robert Martino, owner of Wilson Martino Dental and renowned dental products company, OraCare, pens article for Dental Economics
You may know his name from the Young Guns class of 2007 or the 2017 Sharp Shooters Issue; or perhaps you recognize him as the CEO of Wilson Martino Dental, the long standing “We Cater to Cowards” dental offices with locations throughout North Central West Virginia. But you may not know that Dr. Robert Martino is also CEO of OraCare, a professional dental rinse company that supplies millions of patients across the country with improved oral hygiene. And when you open the pages of this month’s Dental Economics, you’ll find his article on page 74.
Martino, a Clarksburg native and 1990 West Virginia University School of Dentistry graduate, was humbled to contribute to the iconic dental journal, which is considered the pinnacle of the industry. The prestigious publication approached Martino as they prepared content for the November edition that focuses on dental implants. “I’m very honored that they chose to feature OraCare as a part of this issue,” states Dr. Martino. “Our team has worked hard to raise awareness around how OraCare helps patients who have implants.”
Dr. Robert Martino owns and operates seven dental practices in West Virginia, presiding as CEO of Wilmar Management Company. He authored “You Don’t Know What You Don’t Know”, a guide for the new dental school graduate. He is also a founder and CEO of EASW, a worldwide aeronautics company located in Bridgeport, WV. In 2013, Dr. Martino founded Freedom Day USA, a national thank-you movement that has given over $35 million in free services to active military, veterans and their immediate family members. His most recent charitable movement “OraCare Cares” has donated OraCare’s mouth rinse to thousands of cancer patients across the country to help with the oral side effects of treatment.
