84 Lumber, the nation’s leading privately held building materials and services supplier, is excited to announce that it is hitting the road this June to tour its new Tiny Living by 84 Lumber line of tiny houses.

Offering the opportunity for the public to see the Tiny Living collection first-hand, 84 Lumber will tour two of its model homes – the Shonsie and the Roving — along the East Coast on three different routes. The tour will begin on June 6, 2016 at 84 Lumber’s Team Headquarters location in Eighty Four, Pennsylvania, stopping at 15 different company store locations throughout the month.

To experience Tiny Living, 84 Lumber invites the public to tour the home and take photos at a location near them. Stops will include:

  • Cambridge, Ohio
  • Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina
  • Martinsville, Indiana
  • Savannah, Georgia
  • Valley Station, Kentucky
  • St. Albans., West Virginia
  • Murfreesboro, Tennessee
  • Asheville, North Carolina
  • Elkton, Florida
  • Cartersville, Georgia

  • Pulsaki, Virginia
  • West Palm Beach, Florida
  • Statesville, North Carolina

“Over the last decade, tiny houses have been popping up around the country as people decide to downsize for the opportunity of financial freedom, simple living without clutter, and lowering their carbon footprint,” said Maggie Hardy Magerko, President and Owner, 84 Lumber Company. “With this in mind, 84 saw an opportunity to provide a cost-effective, yet customized housing solution in our Tiny Living line of homes. We are excited to take the homes around the East Coast to show potential homeowners that with 84 Lumber, going tiny is easier than you think.”

84 Lumber is the first national retailer to enter the tiny house market. Each of its four available Tiny Living by 84 Lumber models can be customized and range in size from 150 square feet to 200 square feet. 84 Lumber offers three package options for each model – a Build Your Own Trailer + Plans; Semi-DIY Tiny Home Shell + Trailer + Plans; and a Move-In Ready Fully Outfitted home.
