Local artist Brian C. Zickafoose was presented with two Gold American Advertising Awards at the regional gala held on Friday, February 20 at the West Virginia Cultural Center at the Capitol Complex in Charleston.
Zickafoose scored top honors in the Illustration category for his ice dragon illustration for California-based disc golf industry provider, INNOVA Discs.
Zickafoose also took home a trophy in the Advertising Industry Self Promotion category for his Tarot themed business card.
“I was thrilled to represent for the Fayetteville scene and for independent creative professionals in general because these competitions are usually dominated by the big name agencies”, said Zickafoose.
Hailing from Danese, WV, Zickafoose specializes in commercial art, branding and marketing for music artists and festivals and he has produced work for clients such as national recording and touring artists, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, 311 and FloydFest as well as numerous music venues and events across the region.
