The Alzheimer’s Association, West Virginia Chapter announces the spring 2015 Experience the Arts program in conjunction with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra, Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation, and West Virginia State University. Experience the Arts is a special program for persons in the early stages of Alzheimer’s and their care partners.
Experience the Arts is an opportunity for individuals of all ages who have recently received an Alzheimer’s diagnosis to share experiences with others living with the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease, as well as take part in special community arts programs.
The spring 2015 program will include West Virginia Symphony Orchestra rehearsals, square dance lessons, a reception with area musicians, and a technology demonstration. Events will be held in April and May. The first event will be Friday, April 10.
