BrickStreet Foundation Donates $750,000 to the Hoops Family Children’s Hospital

The Hoops Family Children’s Hospital received a gift to continue the growth and expansion of health and wellness services for children in the Tri-State area.

 BrickStreet Foundation donated $750,000 to the construction of the Hoops Family Children’s Hospital. In recognition of their gift, their name will appear on the new Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation Center that will be located in the Fairfield building next to Cabell Huntington Hospital. The center will provide physical, occupational, speech and language and feeding rehabilitation.

The Hoops Family Children’s Hospital’s mission is making sure our children have the opportunity for a healthy future,” said Bradley Burck, vice president of Cabell Huntington Hospital’s Foundation. “Generations of children will benefit from BrickStreet’s contribution.”

The BrickStreet Foundation was launched in 2013 to invest in and support the well-being of local and regional communities. They focus on supporting a healthier quality of life for all citizens, including children.

“Since we launched the foundation, it has been instrumental in donating to many worthwhile causes,” said Greg Burton, Chief Executive Officer, BrickStreet Mutual Insurance Company. “We’re proud to be able to support the Cabell Huntington Hospital Foundation with their efforts to build the Hoops Family Children’s Hospital in order to bring world-class healthcare services to families across Appalachia.”
