Wendy Shriver, executive director of Downtown PKB, recently announced the 2016 Point Park Concert Series summer lineup for the community. This summer’s entertainment will spotlight tribute band type concerts that are sure to get the crowd tapping their toes to the music. Our lineup for this concert series includes:
- S. Stones (tribute to Rolling Stones) – June 3rd
- Pirate Flag (tribute to Kenny Chesney) – July 1st
- The Donna Summer Experience – August 5th
- Panama (tribute to Van Halen) – September 2nd
The Point Park Concert Series is a free-admission concert, organized by Downtown PKB, located at Point Park in Downtown Parkersburg, WV. Hosted on the first Friday of the month from June through September, the Point Park Concerts draw crowds of more than 2,500 people.
This summer we will once again be offering reserved seating for concert patrons. Chairs will go on sale beginning April 1st online through our website on a first come first serve basis. This year, chairs cost $75 each. No early sales or reservations will be taken. Follow our Facebook page and website for more information.

Just a reminder that I am bringing a basket for the bands again this year. When I did it last year, everyone seemed to be really appreciative. I think it puts a better light on Parkersburg and our hospitality.
