Mohammed AlJasmi, M.D., a board-certified, fellowship-trained pulmonologist, has been named an assistant professor in the department of internal medicine. He specializes in sleep medicine, pulmonology and critical care medicine.
He earned his medical degree from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland-Medical University of Bahrain in Bahrain. He completed his internal medicine residency as well as sleep medicine and pulmonary/critical care fellowships at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. AlJasmi is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Ronald J. Innerfield, M.D., FACE, a board-certified, fellowship-trained endocrinologist, has been named an assistant professor in the department of internal medicine. He specializes in endocrinology and digestive health.
He received his medical degree from New York University in New York City, followed by an internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship at Bellevue Hospital/NYU Langone Medical Center, also in New York. Innerfield is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty certifications in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism.

Ghassan Bandak, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained intensivist. He has been named an assistant professor in the department of internal medicine.
He earned his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology in Jordan. He completed his internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, followed by a nephrology fellowship at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland and a critical care fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Bandak is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty certification in nephrology.
Bandak is a hospital-based physician specializing in caring for patients who are in the critical care unit and does not see patients in the outpatient setting.
