Greater Morgantown Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) is excited to announce the official entertainment lineup and extension of early bird ticket sales for the 15th Annual Wild and Wonderful MountainFest Motorcycle Rally.

MountainFest is a three-day event–Thursday, July 25 through Saturday, July 27–located at Mylan Park. This year, they are excited to host a variety of live music acts and activities that every motorcycle enthusiast at any age level will love.

More than 10 rock n’ roll and country music performers will be taking stage at Triple S Harley-Davidson, Coal Bucket Saloon, and Mylan Park’s main stage, and major headline acts will be featured each night. Thursday night will feature Jackyl at the Coal Bucket Saloon, Friday night will feature Peter Frampton with special guest Jason Bonham, and Saturday night will feature The Charlie Daniel’s Band and Cheap Trick.

“Having Jackyl return to kick us off for this year’s event, Peter Frampton on his Finale Tour with special guest Jason Bonham, and wrapping it up with the 40th Anniversary of The Charlie Daniel’s Band and Cheap Trick, we feel it’s one of our best lineups yet,” said MountainFest Event Director, Jamie Summerlin. “This will be an event you won’t want to miss!”

In between the shows, attendees will have the opportunity to experience a variety of games such as Mountain Man Axe Throwing’s portable axe throwing station, Circus Una’s high-wire bike performances, the Wall of Death, Tim Dyson’s FMX Jump Team featuring a freestyle moto-x exhibition, and The Cycle Source Magazine’s Annual Custom Cycle Show at the Annual Ride-In Bike Show where multiple classes will be judged by Cycle Source magazine editors.

Purchase your tickets to MountainFest by Friday, March 22, and save $20. Right now, general admission tickets are only $49 and VIP tickets are only $179.

For the last 15 years, MountainFest has had such an impact on our local tourism economy, and has showcased the Mountaineer Country region to thousands of visitors. Based on the recent confirmation of exciting performances, this year will be no exception.

The Mountaineer Country region is blessed to have as large of a pillar event as MountainFest held in its backyard,” said GMCVB President and CEO, Susan Riddle. “The positive effects that this event has on a local and state economic level have been substantial, and we are excited to see the results for its 15th year.”
